Deja Stewart

Meet the Photographer
Hello!

Nice to meet you!

Hello! My name is Deja Stewart, I’m a mom of 3 and first discovered my love for photography after having my first daughter and wanting to capture every moment of her growing up. I found so much joy in documenting their milestones! It was during those moments that I realized the power of photography to preserve memories and tell a story. My experience in photographing my own children as they grew up has given me a unique perspective and understanding of the emotions and significance behind each moment. I have an innate ability to capture essence of motherhood and the pure innocence of newborns, creating timeless images that families will cherish for a lifetime.

Attending First Institute for digital photography is a pivotal step in my journey. It allowed me to refine my technical skills, learn about composition, lighting, and editing techniques, and deepen my understanding of the artistry behind photography. My dedication to honing my craft and constantly learning new techniques is something that helps me to stay on top of my photography skills.

For me it’s not just about the technical aspect of photography, it’s about capturing the intangible moments that make life beautiful. My message that all memories are worth capturing and that the small things do matter is so important. I believe that every smile, every touch, and every tiny detail has the power to evoke emotions and tell a story.

My niche in maternity and newborn photography allows me to celebrate the journey of motherhood, capturing the anticipation, love, and joy that comes with bringing a new life into the world. My photography not only freezes those precious moments in time but also serves as a reminder to families that every memory, no matter how small, is worth treasuring.

My passion, experience, and heartfelt message is what makes me stand out as a photographer. I have no doubt that my work will continue to touch hearts of many families, creating lasting memories that they will cherish for generations to come. So if you’re looking to freeze time, let’s work together to frame those beautiful moments through time!
